Winning DMC beat out global powerhouses to scoop victory

Dubai-based Arabian Lux has been named a top Producer Partner at the second annual regional Virtuoso Awards at the travel agency network's Latin America and Caribbean Forum.

Hosted at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires in Argentina, the travel agency awards took on 2 April 2025.

The global travel agency network specialising in luxury and experiential travel, honoured winners who "consistently demonstrate their commitment to the network", at an elegant gala dinner.

Founded in the UAE during the pandemic, destination management company Arabian Lux now operates throughout the Middle East and Indian Ocean and has seen considerable growth since conception.

Arabian Lux CEO Nicholas Rhodes said: “When we first came up with the idea of Arabian Lux, and started so humbly during the dark days of Covid, we never imagined that we would have arrived here today.

“This would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our hotel partners whose friendship is the basis of our success, and our global travel trade partners who entrust us with their VIP guests – and, of course, the CEO of Virtuoso Matthew Upchurch who believed in our vision and gave us the chance to shine.”

Rhodes added: "“To be honest, I still cant believe it! We beat out powerhouse travel companies that exist around the world, in Europe, Africa and the Far East. I would not say it's a David and Goliath situation but this win will definitely raise some eyebrows and catapult us onto the global stage.

"What I have told the team today, thought, is that it's business as usual, and to stay humble, concentrating only on our partners and guests.”
