World's busiest hub expects 295,000 passenger peak and busy week until 28 February
Dubai International (DXB) airport has issued a warning for passengers travelling to and from the airport between 20-28 February 2025 due to a spike in traffic.
The world’s busiest international hub says it will welcome 2.5 million guests during that period, peaking on Saturday 22 February when it expects 295,000 people due to global events and school holidays across key markets.
These nine days will be one of the airport’s busiest periods and DXB is asking guests to use Dubai Metro to travel to and from the airport and between Terminals 1 and 3.
Passengers arriving at Terminal 1 will find the Arrivals bus stop out of service from 21 February. Alternative transport options are available from the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) website.
