Spanish hospitality group to open four properties in the GCC in 2025

Dubai hotel Occidental Al Jaddaf has been re-branded as Barceló Al Jaddaf, elevating the property from four-star to five-star status and bringing “Spanish hospitality and savoir-faire to the United Arab Emirates”.

The rebrand marks the debut of the Barceló brand in the UAE and is part of a wider regional expansion, with four Barceló properties set to open across the GCC in 2025.

These include the recent launch of Barceló Hotel Bahrain in May and forthcoming openings in Oman and Saudi Arabia later this year.

Barceló Al Jaddaf

Strategically located just minutes from Dubai’s cultural and business districts as well as Dubai International Airport, Barceló Al Jaddaf offers 365 renovated rooms and suites, each blending contemporary interiors with subtle Spanish influences and offering views of the Dubai skyline.

Dining options are diverse and include the newly launched B-Heaven, a poolside 'urban beach club' concept combining 180-degree city views by the pool and Mediterranean fusion cuisine, as well as all-day dining venue Souk Restaurant, serving international and local flavours.
