Bahrain’s Gulf Air adds 10 new destinations to its network

Saudia Airlines and Gulf Air will expand their operations regionally and globally by sharing their code

Growth follows extension of Thai Airways partnership

Gulf Air will offer its passengers access to 10 additional destinations as it extends its longstanding partnership with Thai Airways.

The expansion of the network sees Gulf Air's total number of codeshare routes reach 14. Gulf Air passengers with benefit from greater access to domestic points within Thailand, and key cities in Asia and Australia served by Thai Airways. 

Thai Airways is adding six new destinations – Cairo, Kuwait City, Amman, Casablanca, Athens and Manchester – to its network via Gulf Air, bringing its total number of codeshare routes to eight.

"Gulf Air customers will be able to book travel to additional cities in Thailand, including Chiang Mai and Phuket, as well as destinations in Indonesia, Malaysia and Australia," a Gulf Air spokesperson said.

"This strategic move not only enhances operational efficiency across our networks, but also provides our passengers with even greater choice and convenience, connecting them to even more exciting destinations."
