Almosafer named official flight partner for Saudi's Direct Hajj Initiative

Pilgrims will benefit from integrated travel itineraries 

Saudi’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is working to enhance services for overseas pilgrims visiting Saudi by launching the Direct Hajj Initiative in partnership with travel agent Almosafer on the Nusuk Hajj platform.

The global markets targeted by the initiative span 126 countries. As the official partner Almosafer will arrange flights and other travel services for pilgrims on Hajj trips.

The platform is licensed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah and aims to raise the standard of services provided to the visitors of the country's two holy cities, Mecca and Medina, via a limited number of approved service providers.

Almosafer was chosen for "its exceptional technical capabilities, its geographical reach and its excellence in providing fast and professional airline booking services". The company works with 450 airlines across the world.

Direct Hajj Initiative executive director Abdullah Jadkarim said: “The Ministry seeks, through this partnership, to facilitate the journey of pilgrims across 126 countries from Muslim minorities across Europe, the Americas, Australia and select countries in Asia and Africa, as it empowers them to experience a seamless Hajj travel booking through Nusuk Hajj. Our unified platform includes all the services they might need with the highest standards and best prices, while providing various options for flights.”

Almosafer CEO Muzzammil Ahussain added: “Our partnership with the sole platform endorsed by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirms our compliance with the highest standards of service and the high reliability we provide in serving pilgrims in the countries targeted by the Nusuk Hajj platform."
