Accor to launch world’s largest Mercure Hotel in Singapore

The 989-key Mercure Icon Hotel offers charging docks for elecric vehicles

Accor has signed a deal with Worldwide Hotels Group, the largest hotel operator in Singapore, to open the world's largest Mercure hotel in the city state. 

Mercure ICON Singapore City Centre is set to open in the first half of  2024.

Located on 8 Club Street, Mercure Icon Singapore City Centre is positioned between Chinatown and the Central Business District (CBD), so guests can easily explore the area's historic temples and quaint shophouses, and feast on authentic local cuisine at nearby restaurants and hawker centres.

Mercure Icon Singapore City Centre will also have its own dining outlets, including an all-day restaurant and a bar. In addition, guests will be able to unwind around the landscaped pool deck and work out at the indoor gym. 

With a focus on sustainability, the hotel will also feature charging car lots for electric vehicles.
