Travel agents spy an opportunity as British pop legend confirms concert in the UAE capital
Abu Dhabi is hoping British pop legend Robbie Williams will draw international tourists from his global fan base later this year when he takes centre stage at the Etihad Arena, Yas Island.
It is part of the emirate's year-round calendar of global music events, a major part of the capital's tourism strategy, which includes sports, culture and the arts, and is designed to support the travel trade in creating exciting itineraries for clients.
With a 25 year long career, starting with pop group Take That, Williams has racked up a repertoire of hits that have made him a global household name.

Songs such Feel and Rock DJ will be at the heart of his UAE set for the artist who holds a Guinness World Record for selling a staggering 1.6 million tickets in a single day during his Close Encounters Tour in 2006.
Boasting an unprecedented 18 Brit Awards, including Best British Male Artist, Outstanding Contribution to Music, and multiple MTV European Music Awards, Williams continues to receive accolades for his talent.
