Wonder of the Seas delivered to Royal Caribbean

The ship is due to make its debut sailing from Fort Lauderdale in Florida on 4 March 2022

The fifth giant Oasis-class ship has been handed over to Royal Caribbean International ahead of entering into service in the spring.

Wonder of the Seas took three years to build and is due to make its debut sailing from Fort Lauderdale in Florida in March for a series of seven-night Caribbean sailings.

The company took delivery of the ship in Marseille with partner Chantiers de l’Atlantique.

The vessel, capable of carrying almost 7,000 passengers and 2,300 crew, will then reposition to the Mediterranean for the summer to run sailings from Barcelona and Civitavecchia, the port of Rome.

“Adding this ship to our already best-in-class fleet elevates the company in continuing to lead the industry with new features and innovation.

“This is one more way that we’re delivering world-class and memorable vacations, responsibly, to guests around the world.”
