Celebrity Cruises launches new Caribbean itineraries

Upmarket line unveils new sailings from Florida for winter 2024-25

Departing from three Florida ports – Port Canaveral, Port Tampa Bay and Port Everglades – the 40 new itineraries will be open for booking from 22August 2023. 

Celebrity Cruises president Laura Hodges Bethge said: “We are so excited to unveil this new programme. It provides our guests with more options to experience the natural beauty of the Caribbean, which is elevated by our personalised experiences on board.”

The new programme offers a wide range of experiences. As well as seven-night sailings, durations range from short getaways to nine-night escapes.

Celebrity will expand its offerings from Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades with new sailings on Celebrity Apex and Celebrity Summit.

From 23 October 2024 to 8March 2025, travellers can enjoy five new sailings onApex, with six and seven-night itineraries visiting destinations such as St Maarten, Puerto Rico, Grand Cayman and Mexico, as well as select sailings to private island Perfect Day at CocoCay.

Described as a “vibrant private island paradise nestled in the Bahamas”, Perfect Day at Coco Cay offers white-sand beaches and crystal-clear turquoise waters, where guests can take a dip in a freshwater pool and swim up to the bar for a refreshing tropical cocktail. Plus, guests can experience the “ultimate in relaxation and privacy” at Coco Beach Club, which features a heated infinity pool, speciality restaurant, 20 exclusive overwater cabanas and more.

A new feature of the Royal Caribbean Group-owned island from January 2024 will be Hideaway Beach, an adult-only retreat offering private cabanas and a new signature food outlet. 

From 25 February 2025 to 10 April 202, Summit will offer five new itineraries ranging from five to nine nights across the western and eastern Caribbean.

Celebrity Cruises will sail out of Orlando’s Port Canaveral with 20 new itineraries, from 21 November 2024 to 19April 2025, on board the intimateCelebrity Equinox.With most itineraries spanning seven nights, travellers will have the opportunity to visit Caribbean destinations including the Bahamas, Belize, Grand Cayman, Mexico, Puerto Rico and St Maarten. 

Celebrity Cruises will also revamp its current Caribbean programme from Port Tampa Bay with more six and seven-night sailings onCelebrity Constellation. The new programme expands the brand’s offerings with four new itineraries and a total of 14 sailings for the season from 2January 2025 to 6April 2025.
