Tom Fecke has experience growing cruise line passenger numbers
Aviareps has appointed Tom Fecke as its new Global Head of Cruise to steer the company’s rapidly expanding cruise division.
The appointment comes as the company, a leader in international representation for tourism, hospitality and aviation, accelerates its global cruise line services amid surging demand and an “evolving” industry.
“We want to be more than a representative, we want to be a strategic partner who understands how to deliver measurable value in each market,” said Thomas Drechsler, COO Tourism at Aviareps.
In his new role, Fecke will oversee the cruise line department and be responsible for broadening Aviareps’ service portfolio for cruise lines worldwide, including market research, travel trade development, PR, sales and marketing activities.

With more than 25 years of experience in the travel and cruise industry, Fecke has held senior sales and leadership positions at Travelport, Avis Rent a Car, Sabre and RCL Cruises. He also served as Secretary General of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) in Brussels, where he advocated for the interests of the European cruise sector.
With experience on both the cruise operator and association side, Fecke is known for his strategic acumen and extensive industry network and has a proven track record of helping cruise lines grow passenger numbers and drive sales.
Fecke said his goal was to “work closely with our teams and our partners to tailor smart, practical solutions that deliver real results in their target markets”.
The expansion of Aviareps’ cruise division reflects the industry’s strong rebound, with global cruise passenger numbers surpassing pre-pandemic levels and the market projected to more than double in value by 2030, to US$18.4 billion.
